SGR Industrial Consulting Ltd. is a company born from an idea of the Founding Partner, who gained 25 years’ experience in the Industrial sector. He specialises in mechanical production, and inspection and expediting activities in the Petrol-chemical sector.
Our mission is to provide a complete procurement service which supports potential customers in identifying the best qualified Italian suppliers to meet their needs.

Inspection activities

Inspection activities are carried out by Inspectors with 10+ years’ experience, to verify that the materials purchased by our Clients is conformed to the requirements of the purchase order, applicable specifications, drawings and any other documents referred to the applicable project documentation.

Our Inspectors are qualified NDE II Level Courses (MT, PT, RT, UT, VT), Level II TWI 3.1 CSWIP, FROSIO Coating Inspector Level 3, NACE Coating Inspector Level III, PED

Expediting Activities

Expediting activities are carried out by Expediters with 10+ years’ experience. The expediters will check and report the progress of the orders placed to suppliers, including the review of production schedules, in order to verify that all activities required to ensure the timely and correct completion of the order are being undertaken.

Expediters will also verify if sub-orders have been placed in compliance with planned schedules, to assess the potential impact of delays on suborders to the final delivery.

If any problems are encountered or foreseen, it will be the responsibility of the Expediter to actively resolve these with the manufacturer. (and report the actions taken, as well as the results of those actions to the Client).

Auditing

Audit activities are carried out by qualified personnel to ensure that the systems and procedures of the Customer or their Suppliers are defined, documented, checked and periodically assessed for effectiveness and compliance.
Screenings and assessments of the quality of the suppliers are also conducted to verify skills, capabilities and qualifications needed to meet specific contractual obligations.

SGR Industrial Consulting Ltd. acts as an intermediary between its clients and businesses specialised in components manufacturing, according to Drawing’s requirements for chemical, mechanical, marine, and oil & gas industries. Examples of those industries are provided below:

Laboratories works and examines the materials in its own workshops, where the test bars for the final inspection are also built.

Painting / Coating

The experience gained in 20 years of inspection activities, has enabled SGR to identify Certified Companies for industrial painting, sandblasting, metallization and anticorrosive treatments on machinery, plants and various mechanical and non-mechanical structures.

Preservation and Packing activities

The experience gained in 20 years of inspection activities, has enabled SGR to identify the businesses operating in the packaging space, specialised in tailored packaging and in worldwide shipping by air, land and water. Those businesses manage packaging and logistics in compliance with products’ specifications and regulations of the country of destination.
